One of my favorite features about the 513{eats} magazines, were the stories shared about our city and her food. New discoveries, hidden gems, road trips, serendipitous visits. Though the magazine is on a self imposed hiatus, there are past stories still to be posted in the upcoming months via the 513{eats} blog.
This particular visit to Deeper Roots Coffee was one that SB had been wanting to make since last summer. So, on a snowy January day, he and I stopped in for a visit with Les Stoneham, Ryan Doan, Greg York, Courtney Robinson, and Adam Shaw and were treated to great coffee, laughter, a tour, a cupping session and a meet up with Spike and Paris, their resident alpacas.
